Why Majors? Because we are not here just to process your accounts at the end of the year. You should expect more from your accountant. Your accountant should be accessible and able to give support on a day by day basis, whether it's a quick phone call or a more in-depth investigation into business strategy. However large or small your business might be, your accountant should be seen as part of your management team, contributing to your success.
Majors, Chartered Accountants, was formed in 1987
and is based in the centre of Hull, UK. We see ourselves as
specialists in the provision of business, accounting and taxation
services to small / medium sized companies and their owners. Although
we do have some local clients who are sole traders or partnerships,
the majority of this firm's work is for companies.
We provide a wide range of business, accounting and taxation services to
our clients, including payroll services, VAT services, corporate
taxation, personal taxation services, accounting, company formation,
auditing, business advisory and consultancy services. When necessary,
we have access to some of the
UK's leading experts in personal and corporate taxation, VAT, company
law and other fields.
Our charges for any work involved will be realistic; we try to set
our hourly charges at an average for the local area and many of our
services are based upon fixed fees. Obviously, the overall cost will
depend upon the amount of work involved, which, in turn, will depend
upon the company's scale of operations. However, whatever the size
of your business we aim to provide a value added service; sometimes
this is by providing good tax advice which saves you money, and often
by making your business more profitable. © Majors, Chartered Accountants, 2000; Updated 28 September 2000; Reviewed 25 April 2002 |
