Over many years Malcolm has provided a quality service to his clients and as time has passed he has instilled this into his team.
Malcolm wants this ethos to continue indefinitely and consequently for the last couple of years he has been drawing up plans for the future (he is getting no younger). He is not putting his calculator away, but over a period of time he intends to take a more relaxed position in the company and maybe one day take a day off!
With this future in mind, he has appointed Stewart MacGregor a director of the company.
Stewart’s history in accountancy goes back 27 years, starting with Garbutt and Elliott in York where he trained as a Certified Accountant, before moving down to Nottingham where he was Senior Auditor, Senior Accountant and Practice Manager at a 3 partner firm. Like at Majors, he experienced a wide variety of businesses. Stewart has worked for the Practice for six years and over that period of time he has demonstrated his dedication to Majors, its clients and its ethos.
The appointment may have little or no effect on the dealings you have with Majors Certified Accountants on a day to day basis, but it is an exciting time for all here as we strive to provide the quality service that we always have but for many, many years to come.

In light of the current COVID-19 situation and with Government advice we are continuing business as normal but all of the team are working from home for the foreseeable future.
